**This was the last ever WAVZ Top 30 survey. WAVZ and its "sister" station,
the beautiful music station "Stereo Island" WKCI, at 101.3FM, flipped formats
at this time, with the "Top 40" format (with a clear AC lean not found on
WAVZ, however) moving over to the newly-branded "KC101", with WAVZ adopting a
mainly "standards" format. WAVZ was soon to become an early client of Al
Ham's "Music Of Your Life" automated music system.**
