NOTE: One of the hit-bound songs, which is Report To The Nation of Winkly &
Nutly, is a Buchanan & Goodman-type novelty recording thru which Willie
Winkly and Ned Nutly portray political reporters. This recording took place
during the debate of Richard Nixon and John F. Kennedy. Each time that
Winkly & Nutly ask a "candidate" a question, a piece of a popular song is
sounded. Jim Stag (Willie) and Bob Mitchell (Nutly) were actual record
players of the KYA radio station of San Francisco.
