JIM TABER TO LEAVE BIRMINGHAM! WSGN program director of 4 1/2 years, will
be leaving what he calls his second home town…the Magic City, to join the
radio staff of radio station KLIF in Dallas, Texas. Jim joined WSGN after
many sucessful years at WABB radio in Mobile, Ala. He has also worked in
Golden and Denver Colorado. According to the Pulse Inc. radio surveyers,
Taber Time has been the No. 1 rated program on every survey for metro
Birmingham for the entire 4 1/2 years. He says It's the hardest decision
I have ever made. Although Jim is a native Texan from Dallas, he says he
feels like he is an Alabamian and hates the thought of leaving so many
great friends at the station and in the city. SO….IT'S SO LONG TO JIM
TABER TIME AT THE TURNTABLES and Homer too. The WSGN staff will always
consider Jim A WSGN Good Guy….Bon Yoyage, Buddy.
