Alvin Korngold

Alvin was that very important part of KWFM that most of us never thought about. Alvin was the founder and owner of the station. From its conception in 1969 up through 1981 when he sold the station, Alvin was the man behind the payroll, the man who held the license, the man who brought free-form progressive rock radio to Tucson.

Alvin passed away October 21, 2006. His daughter Susan sent the following obituary.
