As Jim Ray recalls, "Joe was the head honcho when I got there. He really didn't care for what we were doing but he respected us for doing it.  He had a great collection of Bolo Ties, Mexican Wedding Shirts and Kachina Dolls. One hell of a guy..."

Joe was at KWFM until Sandusky bought the station. Shortly thereafter he moved to Green Valley where he started a very successful Big Band Station.

Joe died several years ago in a car accident.
