The top ten singles were heard on a Friday afternoon
broadcast; CJBC (a CBC affiliate) did not normally play
this type of material throughout the rest of the
programming week.
On Fridays in 1957, the Toronto Telegram printed a weekly,
DJ-picked, Top Ten song list from several stations and DJs.
The DJ from each station changed from week to week.
The album list is from this source, and does not necessarily
represent the overall programming heard on CJBC.
