In 1961 and 1962, The Globe and Mail published a weekly feature (on
Saturdays) called "Top Tunes This Week". Although no source or station
was identified in connection with the "Top Tunes" chart, in weeks where
a separately published CKEY chart is available, the "Top Tunes" line up
exactly with the top 10 of the CKEY chart. The Globe and Mail at the
time had a 50% ownership stake in CKEY.
