George "Hound Dog” Lorenz.
Lorenz' early career began in Buffalo in the 1940s, and he worked at
various stations in the Western NY market thereafter, most notably WKBW
in the mid-1950s. Lorenz founded WBLK-FM in 1964, and worked there until
his death in 1972. This brochure commemorates the 10th anniversary of
his passing.
